What is Water Transfer Graphics?

Water Transfer Graphics or Hydro graphic (also known as hydro dipping) is a 3-D decorating process. This process utilizes a water-soluble film that contains multiple graphic designs. Graphics available such as carbon fiber, wood grain, camouflage, animal prints are just examples from the vast selection we have to complete your projects.

This process requires good preparation before the item can be completed. Items are firstly coated with a primer. After the primer dries, a base coat paint is applied to match the pattern. Once the selected print is placed in a tank of water it is then sprayed with a high quality activator.  The film dissolves and leaves the ink on the surface of the water. The immersed item is then placed in the water and the ink wraps around it. After close inspection the printed objects are washed off.  All items are clear coated to protect the surface and provide a durable and proper decorative shiny finish.

For the most part, if the item can be dipped in water, the water transfer process can be applied.
